This vinyl edition was created specifically for the 12” vinyl release, and sings a slightly shorter version and mix than the 59-minute CD version. The album comes in a single sleeve and is on ivory vinyl. We will receive the vinyl on Friday April 26, and it will be sent out immediately, UNLESS YOU HAVE ALSO ORDERED THE NEW C93 T-SHIRT, in which case the LP will be sent out when the t-shirts arrives in the second week of May.

NODDING GOD FEATURE IN THOMAS LIGOTTI FILM IN A FOREIGN TOWN DIRECTED BY MICHAEL SHLAIN

Music by Nodding God (and also C93) appears in the film In A Foreign Town, based on the stories of Thomas Ligotti. A promotional CD single is released next week on House Of Mythology, and features 2 tracks by Nodding God: “Calcination Totem Station” and “In A Foreign LandScape”. It is not for sale, but will be sent out free to anyone who has ordered, or will order, the Nodding God album Play Wooden Child in any of its formats, or Ulver’s new album, Drone Activity. “In A Foreign LandScape” is an extend remix of “Calcination Totem Station” from Play Wooden Child, and was specially created for the film In A Foreign Town. The gorgeous cover illustration by Ania Goszczyńska is based on a still from the film.
The film is written and directed by Michael Shlain and produced by Butcher Bird Studios. It premièred internationally at the 37th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. In A Foreign Town is a short film proof-of-concept for a HorrorAnthology series of the same name. Also created by Michael Shlain, this series was an official selection of the 2019 “In Development” Creative Forum at Canneseries. Go here for more information.
INVOCATION OF ALMOST AT THE BEGOVICH GALLERY FULLERTON
I cannot begin to tell how moved I was by everything connected with my visit to California for the opening of my INVOCATION OF ALMOST art exhibition. It was an Utter Dream, even more so as I celebrated my BirthDay there. Thank you so much to all of those who made this possible, through their endless hard work and overwhelming enthusiasm and dedication. I cannot say more than THANK YOU ALWAYS to Jacqueline Bunge, Shaun Richards, Karen Hendon, Shirley Villalobos, Bill Chapman, Tony Reyes, and everyone else who made this so prefect. Thank you so much too to my manager and dear friend Timothy Mark Lewis for accompanying me, and to my art-dealer and dear friend Henry Boxer, who also came in the company of his delightful partner Angie Page. And a huge thank you to everyone else who turned up. The curators tell me around 1,000 people came to the opening, which was the largest turn-out they have ever had, apart from an exhibition of the works of SpongeBob and his NickelOdeon family.

All of this has been crafted with such care, and offered up with such love, by the perfect Sputnik1985. If I had known, when I started Channelling Current 93 so many years ago, that one day my paintings and scribbles and spheres would become so alive and as real as rainbows on body and wall and feet and toes, how happy I would have been. THE COLOSSAL ANDREW LILES’ COLOSSUS
COLOSSUS is an inconceivably massive project that consists of 50 tracks all of which are 50 minutes long.

Parts One and Two combined are just short of 42 hours of 'music'.
The 'songs' are surreal adaptations of every single hit from the last 50 years that were at Number One in the UK charts on Andrew Liles’ birthday. They are absolutely nothing like the originals.
Additionally, the words to the songs are formed from the lyrics to every Number One hit from the last 50 years but have been rearranged and are predominantly abstract and nonsensical.

The new album from These New Puritans is another masterpiece. I don’t know what else I can say about it except that it is perfect and then even more PERFECT.
