C93 SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE & HORSEY REISSUES

As I mentioned last week, today’s UpDate is solely concerned with the Soul of the first 2 C93 expounded reissues, on 2LP and 2CD, of HORSEY and SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE on the new C93 reissue label, HOMALEPH, run by myself and Timothy Mark Lewis of House of Mythology.

All reissues are remastered by The Bricoleur from the original analogue and digital MasterTapes, and will include many previously unreleased mixes and versions of songs from the recording sessions of the relevant albums.

Overseeing the project along with myself and Timothy Mark are my dear friend and C93 expert José Pacheco, as well as Ania Goszczyńska, Ossian Brown, and Jake Gill.

HORSEY and SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE are now available for pre-order here, and will be released on Friday June 5 to Welcome the C93 London Channelling on Sunday June 7.

 

Both albums are, as I mentioned above, come in expanded 2LP and 2CD editions. Each of these 2LP titles comes in a limited edition in coloured opaque 180g vinyl, as well as in a standard edition in 180g transparent vinyl. They are presented in a single sleeve with a wider 5mm spine, which also includes a 2-sided insert containing lyrics and acknowledgements. The expanded 2CD edition comes in a heavy-card gatefold mini-LP sleeve, again with an accompanying insert with lyrics and acknowledgments.

For both of these releases, the previously unreleased extra tracks added to each edition differ between formats—the extra tracks on the 2CD edition are not on the 2LP vinyl edition, and the extra tracks on the 2LP vinyl edition are not on the 2CD edition.

300 special Bundles are also available for PreOrder now here. This Bundle contain the limited opaque 2LP editions of HORSEY and SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE, as well as a SilkScreened print, signed by myself, a 2-sided SilkScreened ToteBag, and a “Niemandswasser” 12” PictureDisc featuring previously unreleased versions of the song “Niemandswasser”, which first appeared on SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE. The versions of “Niemandswasser” on this PictureDisc do not appear on the expanded 2LP and 2CD editions of SLEEP HAS HIS HOUSE. The print and ToteBag are only available in the bundle; however 93 copies of the “Niemandswasser” picture disc will also be available for sale separately at an as-yet undetermined date.

As you will see from the accompanying bundle image, I have not yet decided on the image for the print, which I will decide on next week, as I am at this moment finishing the new C93 album, the single from which will be made available on the UpDate which will be sent out on my BirthDay on March 5.
